4206/1 x 2. The larger plate XK140 & XK150 Steering Rack Mount Shim 0.48" for shimming metalastik mounts. Made in stainless steel for corrosion resistance. To be used in conjunction with the smaller slide in shims that may be fitted after mounts are bolted in. SEE 4206/2.
Failing to fit correct shims so the rebuilt rack sits exactly flat on the chassis can lead to increased steering (drag) and lead to premature wear on bar and bushes. Use Shims as required, but parts book indicates starting with x 2 of these. Original Number Reference C8024.
